My first ThanksgivingWe went for yet another weight check yesterday and Owen has finally gained weight!! He now weighs 6 lb 14 oz. He gained 8 oz since last week. So - still a long way to go but we are finally making progress. All of his girl friends weigh at least a couple of pounds more than him - never thought he would be the little one! :) We go for his one month checkup next week and if he has still gained we do not have to go back for another month! I am sure he is very excited about that...
I can't believe that he will be 4 weeks old on Saturday! The time has gone so fast... Everyone tells you how fast they grow up but now I am starting to really realize it for myself. 4 weeks is also the halfway point of when I was planning to go back to work. And at this moment I cannot imagine having to leave him! It makes me almost cry just thinking about it so I guess I will just ignore it for a little while longer...

The third picture down is one of the cutest pictures I've ever seen! He's a little man! :) I'm so sorry that half of your time is over already. :( I know how much it hurts! :( You'll make it and we'll all be there for you. Enjoy the rest of your mat leave!!
You can come, sit next to me and cry all day if you need to! I know it is so very hard, but I promise you will be OK, and so will he :)
I feel your pain about leaving your baby. Bill and I are having a very hard time picturing her at daycare...to the point we looked into nannies until we saw the cost!!! ($18-24/hour) I just keep thinking about when I was little that I loved going to daycare and playing with all the other kids. Miss ya...Jolene
