School is officially over for the semester and now I have a month off!!! So here is the beginning of catching up starting with the big birthday party!!!

Talking...

It is amazing how much life changes with each new thing they learn... Owen is talking so much now. That has seemed to be his strong thing as he still will not walk although I keep thinking it will happen anyday... He loves to say Daddy and Mom (not mama or mommy), Bye, Hi, Uh-Oh, Yeah, Ba-ba, Hershey (our dog), Papa, Thank you, cool, dude, and la ya (love you). The other night we were driving home and he was jabbering in the backseat like usual. All of a sudden he says "Dada" and Matt said "what" and he sad "la ya". Daddy told him he loved him too. Then he said "Mom" and I said "what" and he said "la ya". I told him I loved him and then he said "bye". I asked where he was going and he was asleep! It was so cute, like he was telling us goodnight but didn't know how to say that yet...

These are some pics from the past couple of months... And I will just say right now I will probably not get any better at this cause I have Mental Health Clinicals for the next 5 weekends... Yuck! Any of you who think of praying for me...

First 4th and Vacation Pics...

Owen is growing up so much everyday! Although it makes his mommy wonder where her baby has gone. :( He has his own version of crawling - it gets him where he wants to go and is pretty cute... He screams and throws a fit when you try to give him baby food so we have moved him to all table foods. He started a new "school" last week and seems to be loving the social interaction with the other kids! The only problem is that he does not nap very well there yet as he doesn't want to miss anything! We are having so much fun with him...

After many rainy days.. we finally made it to Deanna Rose on Friday! Owen had a blast. The whole time we were walking around he was squealing and jabbering in his stroller. It was a beautiful day and SO much fun... He especially loved the water thing - I took off his shoes and let him stand in it and he kicked his feet and splashed and laughed.

Thanks to my wonderful husband I got a new fancy camera for Mother's Day!! It is amazing the difference in the pictures. We tried to get some good ones while we were there... :)
